How Can severe Fever Along With Recurring UTI Be Treated?

Hi , can my child is diagnosed with acute UTI , the infection has gone down but after almost 48 hours he developed fever and it s recurring I.e after every 6 hours his body temperature crosses 101 degree f. He has been prescribed meftal p and paracetamol . So is it safe ?

keep him hydrated.. give him plenty of water, juices, and do cold sponging whenever fever comes, yes medications given by doctor is right..
